Ruff Cutz encourages "works-in-progress". These films are reviewed by an accomplished jury panel in the film industry, and by an audience for critical feedback. The awards presented by the Ruff Cutz Indie Film Conference recognize current achievements and encourage completion of these film projects. Many which go on to major Film Festival competitions world wide. These are mostly "rough-cut" versions of the filmmakers upcoming finished film and are viewed as world premiered film screenings.
