• Films up to 45 minutes are SHORT length.
• Films from 46 minutes to 200 minutes are FEATURE length.

This is "rough cut" film showcase. Your film does NOT have to be a "final cut" version, in fact, we recommend that you do not send us your final cut. This allows opportunity for filmmakers to get feedback from other filmmakers and an audience.

There are expo tables available for film exhibits in additional to actual theatre screenings. To reserve a table the cost is $1000 per table for the 3 day weekend event. This is due in advance and is non refundable. You may present your press and/or media kit on that table to guest. Other film selections will be featured in theatre screenings in the evening. They will be listed in the SCHEDULE page as accepted.

ORIGINAL FORMATS:
We accept anything shot on Digital Video, Super 8, 16mm, 35mm, Beta SP, DigiBeta, and HDTV. ...but it must be submitted in DVD or VHS format.

*All submissions must be mailed by March 5th, 2008. Entry fees must be paid in United States Dollars.

**All selected films will be granted two full pass for admission to the Ruff Cutz Indie Film Conference weekend events in it's full capacity. All other filmmakers who have submitted but were not selected as finalists will be able to receive 50% off any of the weekend conference festivities.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
• 50 word synopsis of the film or video
• Director's biography
• Full cast and crew list including musical composition credits
• Press Kit, if available, with stills from the work (OPTIONAL)
• Works must be in original language. If needed use English subtitles only.
• For STUDENT submissions - include a copy of the Director's valid student ID.SELECTION PROCESS:
The Ruff Cutz selection committee made up of industry professionals will review all films.
Notifications will be emailed, mailed, and/or Emailed. All committee decisions are final.
